Will Kybella Give Me a Sculpted Jawline?

Will Kybella Give Me a Sculpted Jawline?

A sculpted, well-defined jawline is an attractive feature that projects youth and elegance. Top female runway models like Gisele Bündchen and Cara Delevingne have contoured jawlines and slim faces with virtually no fat underneath the chin. Hollywood’s leading men, like Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Johnny Depp, have stronger, more sculpted jawlines — also with very little fat underneath the chin.

If you have unsightly fat under your chin or a poorly defined jawline, Dr. Michael McCracken can help. Thanks to the revolutionary injectable known as Kybella, he can non-surgically reduce fat and sculpt the jawline. With just a few treatments, you can enjoy a slimmer face, similar to that of your favorite A-list celebrity!

How Kybella Works

Kybella is a cosmetic injectable formulated with deoxycholic acid, which helps the body permanently eliminate unwanted fat underneath the chin. Typically, two to four sessions of injections are needed to achieve the desired fat reduction. The injections are made about one finger width below the jawline and in the center of the neck. Kybella should not be injected directly into the jawline.

With less fat underneath the chin, the neck contour is improved and the jawline may look more sculpted and defined. Sometimes Kybella even has a very slight tightening effect on the skin underneath the chin; this is mostly in cases where the skin is only minimally slack.

If there is a lot of loose skin obscuring the definition of the jawline, skin tightening treatment with an energy-based system, laser or surgery is likely needed to enhance the appearance of the area. These treatments can work in combination with Kybella to comprehensively reduce fat, tighten the skin and enhance the definition of the jawline.

Discuss Your Own Needs at an In-Person Consultation

It is difficult for a doctor to confirm that Kybella can deliver the desired results (or recommend a suitable treatment alternative) without seeing pictures of the chin and jawline or visually examining it in person.

If you want to understand what Kybella is and isn’t capable of, and determine the appropriate plan of treatment for your specific needs, you should plan to meet with Dr. McCracken for an in-person consultation. He can examine your chin and jawline, noting the amount of excess fat and quality of your skin, and describe what can be done. Together, the two of you will decide on a plan to move forward and achieve the facial appearance you desire.
